Imagination Meditation: River Tubing Through Calm Watersā¦
I recommend closing your eyes and using headphones while meditating. This allows for better concentration. Enjoy this water meditation visualization!

I live on a constantly moving river so traveling down on a tube would be perfect for me.
It’s so much fun! I highly recommend! (although in real life, I’d do it through a commercial organization that does tubing rather than just setting out on the river, for safety sake) š
This is great! I was in a lazy river yesterday thinking about how peaceful they are. A great place for meditation!
Glad you agree, Alicia!
I love this!! I have only been river tubing once in Jamaica and this definitely took me back to it!
You should definitely do it again! š
Aah the sounds of nature. I enjoy the sound of water when meditating. So calming and peaceful. When we I think of peace, I think of water.
Completely agree! So soothing!
I have found that I really enjoy guided meditations like this š
Oh good, Tiffany, I’m glad!
Very relaxing! Thanks for taking me on this peaceful journey!!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!
Wow, I was following right along. This is a much better way to meditate.
Oh, I’m so happy you liked it! Thank you!
That was amazing! I didn’t get through it all, because as soon as I sit still, I fall asleep – first discovered in church, lol. So – I will try again this evening. Cool idea!
Lol, that can definitely be a challenge when first starting, especially if you’re not used to being still! It’s mainly about learning to quiet the body and mind, but still be actively engaged in the present, not thinking about all sorts of random things. With practice, it gets easier and can be quite helpful!
This meditation sounds so relaxing. Iām in need of a good meditation so thank you for sharing this .
Oh, thank you, Keirsten! Feel free to listen whenever you like!
I will be trying this tomorrow. Thanks for sharing.
I hope you like it, Cecile!
Interesting. I love meditating, so I will give it a try.
Please do! I hope you like it!
Great resource! Meditation has made such a huge difference for me during the past year.
Oh, wonderful! Yes, in times of high stress, it can definitely be a calming influence!
It is so much easier to meditate when guided. The guidance helps to keep me focused and prevent my mind from wandering aimlessly.
I know exactly what you mean, Sabrina! I usually use guided meditations myself as well. I *can* meditate without it, but I enjoy the guiding vocals and imagery much more. I usually tend to meditate without a guide mainly when I’m out walking, not when I’m completely still.
Great post! I have tried guided meditations in the past. I’m not really skilled at them yet! I have such a difficult time quieting my mind.
I completely understand! It can be a challenge when you’re used to being super busy or not sitting still. I know some guided meditations will allow some silence as part of the meditation, but if you’re worried about stuff, it can be easier to let your mind wander. It’s totally fine for that to happen; the key is to bring your mind back to a focal point (like your breathing) when you realize you’re thinking about something in particular. I didn’t include much silence in my meditations mainly to provide the listener something to focus on other than his/her wandering thoughts.
This looks so relaxing! I have only gotten to tube down one lazy river in my life and it’s definitely something I need to do again!
I highly recommend!
Meditation is a key practice for me. And the river contains a lot of symbolism for me too, so this is perfect!
Glad you like it, Cindy!
Sound so relaxing!
Yay, thank you!
I enjoyed this!
Oh, yay, I’m so glad!!
